Whether for the day or a weekend, experience beautiful Santa Barbara County Wineries without the driving, parking, and traffic headaches. Relax and
enjoy the Santa Ynez Valley from the comfort of your own personal limousine while our chauffeur safely drives you to the wineries throughout the day. A Moonlite Limousine has put together three suggested packages so that you can kick off your shoes and spend some time in the country.
The wine country of Santa Barbara County is one of the most versatile grape growing regions of California. The Santa Ynez Mountains run East to West, creating valleys opening to the Pacific Ocean. This allows the inland flow of fog and ocean breezes to keep the climate temperate. All of the classic grape varieties can be grown in Santa Barbara County due to the many different microclimates.
Wine touring in the Santa Barbara region will take you North of Los Angeles through the San Marcos pass and beautiful Lake Cachuma into Santa Ynez.
Spectacular vistas of valleys and mountains can be seen from most of the wineries. Galney, Sunstone, Beckman and Buttonwood vineyards in Santa Ynez: Brander Domaine, Rusack and Folry wineries in Los Olivos; Firestone, Fess Parker and Zaca Mesa to the North are just a few to tour. If that’s not enough, there are twenty-three other wineries to choose from. You can also enjoy lunch or dinner in the picturesque Danish town of Solvang. Afterwards you can try your luck at one of the casinos, play golf, go horseback riding, relax at one of the spas, or just spend a few hours shopping.
Vineyards cover close to 12,000 acres from the coast to the foothills of the Los Padres National Forest. Explore the historic Foxen Canyon Wine Trail, a romantic 20-mile stretch of country road that connects nine of the 35 wineries of the Santa Ynez, Los Alamos and Santa Maria Valleys.
Most of the wineries produce Chardonnay, along with the region being renowned for its Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Gewdrztraminer.
